The Importance of Small Business

Across the world, smaller businesses are the backbone of every single economy.  In a typical western country, businesses with less than $10 million in turnover will represent more than 95% of all businesses operating. Together, these businesses employ up to 50% of all private sector workers and contribute a staggering 40% of GDP.

To say smaller businesses are the engine of every strong and resilient economy and the catalyst for prosperity would not be an understatement.

Yet despite their obvious importance, smaller businesses struggle to access the same resources that the most successful businesses can.  In turn this creates a growth paradox where the top 10% of businesses get bigger by default and every other business must work harder to maintain the status quo.

GSchool was founded by James Collier, entrepreneur and growth strategist.  James is our Principal Consultant and the architect of the 7 Keys Framework. For over two decades, James has worked with hundreds, if not thousands of businesses across Europe, North America, and Australia to unlock new revenue streams, acquire customers, and build sustainable growth systems. He founded and grew a full-service agency from zero clients to $15M in annual revenue before selling the business for an significant multiple to a global communications group.  James also launched a technology start-up, Run Theory, which used AI to help everyday athletes run faster and injury free before its IP was acquired.

Today, James brings this experience to GSchool with one goal: to help businesses of every shape, size, and ambition achieve outsized growth. Through GSchool, owners, operators and employees get access to proven strategies once reserved for big corporates, strategies that deliver real results without unnecessary complexity.
